You'll understand that better when you have your own. The rest sounds like you really care and want to do a good job. Wonderful! One of the greatest gifts you'll get from this experience is learning to think on your feet...a must for a teacher! It doesn't matter what the teacher does or does not leave for you. It matters what you do with the materials and time you have in that class. Also...don't hesitate to ask the others on the grade level. Great start!
