Waffles Radio is the catch-all, thought sharing, and most likely unimportant in the grand scheme of things blog from Chris Osborne (author of Juggle Chainsaws and Sapid Existence). But it exists anyway.
So why the split? I have different visions for each blog. Sapid Existence has so far been the most stable. It has always been, and most likely always will be, about photographs. It has gone from a photoblog to a gallery and back to a photoblog, but it has always been about photography.
Juggle Chainsaws has a more interesting history. It started as The Box and was a spin off of a site that a few friends and I made. It then became The Pit and got a redesign. Finally it moved to WordPress and became Juggle Chainsaws. With the current name, it has been a personal blog, a tech blog, and a personal and tech blog at the same time. Now, it is a place for my small programming contributions. And I do mean small.
Waffles Radio has had it’s share of history too, as well as variations on the use of ‘waffles’ vs ‘Waffles’. The first design was a blatent rip off of something I saw on a forum. After that it went to WordPress. It’s only purpose so far has been to be a home for my now defunct radio show on WINR. But while over the summer (and no show happening) I attempted to have it cover music news and to highlight other music related blogs. That was a pain, and I don’t recommend it for anyone who isn’t getting paid for it.
Now, Waffles Radio is the home for my mindless blabber. Alright, some of it might not really be mindless. But we’ll see how it goes.
