Cooking is just a lot of fun. Everyone has to eat, and someone has to make it.
Right now I'm a culinary student at the Culinary Institute of Charleston and a dishwasher in a restaurant. Both have taught me a lot. One of them is obviously more fun.
I'm still trying to figure out what my favorite type of food to cook is. Partly that's because I've only really learned how to make what I wanted to make rather than what I should know how to make. Things are going a bit more in the Asian direction right now. But I'm a Southern boy and there's no getting that out of me.
If this blog stops getting updated for a while it's either because school and work caught up with me, or I made banana bread and my wife killed me. I don't think she was joking when she said that.
